5 Reasons Why I am broke

5 Reasons Why I am broke

By. Abdul Lawani

Money is the source it seems for all reasons for actions in daily life, from where you will live, what car you'll drive, what you will wear and even who your friends are and who you will marry fortunately although there is always room for exception.

Here are a few reasons I believe I have lacked in the competitive world.

5.

Choosing freedom over financial success
I have done a lot of things in my life from Going to College, Passing Navy boot camp serving in the Military, overcoming illnesses, Owning real estate, starting a business and earning a  profit from that business to achieving a client list of over 100+ companies and consumers.

Yet I have time and time again I choose freedom over captial, and one thing about freedom it has a cost it’s not actually Free.

Consequences
From quitting jobs, canceling agreements, closing a business it typically doesn’t put money into your pocket. It’s nothing wrong with taking a sabbatical, yet a sabbatical with no money is the equivalent of taking a vacation with nowhere to lodge.

Would you take a plane somewhere with no hotel or place to stay?

Somebody out there would I know, but most people wouldn’t it’s not practical.

4.
Isolation
By nature I like isolation, yet I can get out rather quickly but to heart I’m a proud introvert.

I learned to deal with it an understand it.

I know a lot of people and a lot of people know me yet it’s usually from working or from business that I do, rendering service you can’t help but to meet people it’s no way around it.
Yet Networking, Partnerships, talking to people basically that puts more money in your pocket, I use to tell my younger associates that work for me “Close mouth Don’t Get Fed”

Yet its consequences to that they may leave you in a surrounded castle, with no one to help you fight

They say your future is determined by those that are around you look to your inner circle to see where you will be in the future. As to say it’s not necessarily what you know it who you know.

Basically most people I know are broke therefore that possibly might also underline my very fate.

3.
Going for broke and not saving

The Second step to gaining wealth logically is savings.

But a good percentage of persons don’t have any savings at all, half of the U.S population don’t have enough funds to cover expenses for 3 months without income.

It’s the second step yet it is the hardest because:

It defies a lot of natural instincts, Animals tend to live day to day no concept of tomorrow), although animals in the wild tend to be smarter than humans.

Dogs bury carcasses for food to be eaten later; Squirrels stockpile food for long winters.

2.      Life is emotional, spending money is also emotional, when people are sad they throw logic out the window, when people feel good they throw logic out the window.

Corporations are fully aware of that and push the buttons of products to cash in profits using persuasive hot buttons marketing schemes to get you to spend.

3.    And  Life’s setbacks and calamities just make matters worse (A Divorce, a Flat tire, an unexpected firing, a canceled contract, a market collapse etc...)

Yet excuses are that excuses rather they are just or not.

Benjamin Franklin said: “A Penny saved is a penny earned”.

Money is green and when you have not your fiscal life stops, and when you got it again you can go. It’s like a not so fun game of red light green

No savings means you are closer to no money and typically day to day or check to check.

Living for the moment has cost me a lot and it’s too embarrassing to even mention even down right sad but that’s the wonderful world of capitalism, a lot of things are determined by capital, And it favors those with capital.

So no savings lead you down the road to the land of you are no fun because you don’t have any money.

One thing I can say is if you want to get rid of friends instead of staging a death stage a brutal bankruptcy where you lose all your money.

You lose all your friends that were only around because you had lots of cash, faster than Usain bolt.
People hate broke people worse than misers who don’t give anyone any of their money.

2.
Low Expectations

Some people don’t want to be rich.

I have heard people near and dear that didn’t strive nor care to be rich.

Didn’t quite understand the logic but I think people have certain hang-ups.

Yet my expectations are that I do want to be financially rich although my wisdom doesn’t value riches as I did when I was younger I have worked around so called rich people and honestly they just have more of what others don’t its impressive but I don’t really care.

I like their stuff yet it's more or less the capital I am more impressed with and times I really don’t care yet I know people really do.

But that same Zen like understanding doesn’t necessarily put cash into my pocket.

I gives me piece of mind but no cash.

Yet I think it will help in other ways that will lead me to the positive results
I am looking for.
But the threshold I use to follow that I am trying to change is the lowered expectations.

Not having a quota or a very low quota has landed me in the poor house.

1.
Choosing fear over Triumph

I always think to myself what my life would be like if I wasn’t so shy.

Would I have that fine woman in my life that I saw so many times that probably wanted me to talk to her but I didn’t know it, would I be a CEO of a company, would I already be a millionaire or more.

Those are questions that are asked because I allowed fear to set in many instances that I don’t know were good or bad.

Or is regret for Pussies

Not following my first mind Is A skill in which If you learn to use it can net you a lot of gains.

Yet a lot of times fear overtakes logic and indecision results in no gains or losses.
It’s one of the hardest things I struggled to understand yet some things you should be fearful of.
